Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet 2014

Mercedes-Benz redesigned inside and outside the Coupe Cabriolet and acclaimed E-Class and equipped with the most advanced security systems, communication, entertainment, and a new set of options for more powerful and efficient engines.

The two new models, which go on sale in the US in the summer of 2013, will be presented at the Detroit Auto Show.

New engines, more power and efficiency

The new generation E-Class includes the ECO start / stop technology that shuts off the engine as soon as the vehicle stops and starts as soon as the driver releases the brake pedal to contribute to efficiency in fuel consumption of new engines with direct injection 3.5-liter V6 that generates 302 horsepower and the V8 twin-turbo 5.5-liter boot with 402 horsepower.

New design, more technology

The new image of classic Coupe and Cabriolet four-seater stands out from the front with new lights containing all the functional elements into a single lens. The front fenders on both models now have a new way V steeper and wider air intakes, which accentuates the sporty image, but at the same time emphasizes its resemblance to the recent redesign of E-Class Sedan.

The muscular rear fenders keep their shape, which visually emphasizes the power of the rear-drive sports car. New taillights and broad defense topped with a chrome strip across the width complete the aggressive look of both models.

In the coupe, the proportions with elongated trunk lid, an extended lateral line opening the windows by eliminating the B-pillar, a flat roof and short trunk, reflects the traditional characteristics of all Coupes Mercedes- Benz.

The feature windows that open fully repeated in the convertible, giving greater sense of space for four occupants and lengthens its image further when you have the roof down.
