The new Subaru Forester® 2014, one of the most popular and capable crossover market was completely redesigned its fourth generation, which now has more interior space, more efficient fuel consumption, the legendary Subaru Symmetrical All- 4×4 technology Wheel Drive and a new BOXER engine that generates up to 250 horsepower.

More space, more comfort
Although it remains virtually the same dimensions as the previous generation, the new Subaru Forester 2014 has more interior space, thanks to being manufactured on a new platform which has 0.9 additional inches of space between the axles, providing 41.7 pugladas of space in the second row of seats and a total of 103.9 inches for the entire vehicle.
With 8.7 inches tall, the structure of the new Forester 2014 is higher than most other models in the segment of midsize crossovers, but maintains a level of comfort to enter and exit the cab, thanks to the lower frame door is 2 inches masd low compared to the previous model.

Subaru offers a manual transmission of six changes to the basic model and the new generation of Subaru Lineartronic® continuous variable (CVT) with paddle shifters behind the steering wheel for manual controls.
The 2.5i engine models can be coupled to an automatic transmission of six changes or new Subaru Lineartronic® continuous variable (CVT), which also equips Impreza® new Subaru, Legacy and Outback®.
The higher-end models with the CVT transmission also feature the new X-Mode control that optimizes the operation of Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and Hill Descent Control to improve the experience under extreme conditions of off-road driving.
With these options powertrain, the new Forester 2014 will be at the head of the segment of midsize crossovers with four-wheel drive, with a yield of gasoline of 24 mpg city, 32 highway and combined average of 27 for models with the 2.5-liter engine and CVT transmission.
All models except base 2.5i, have safety equipment that includes camera support for reverse maneuvers and a multifunction color display as standard equipment.
The security team of the 2014 Forester now has the EyeSight® technology developed by engineers Subaru, which uses cameras in Estero instead of radar to integrate the functions of Adaptive Cruise Control, Pre-Collision Braking and Vehicle System Lane Departure Warning, all contributing to alert the driver to avoid accidents.
The optional navigation system with touch screen technology has the Aha® by which you can have access to different applications of smart phones, and the higher-end models, an audio system is available harman / kardon eight speakers and 440 watts of power.

The Subaru Forester 2.5i will be available with a base model and Premium, Limited and Touring versions, with a price range (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price, MSRP) ranging from $ $ 21.995 by the more austere model to $ 32.995 by the more equipped, more than $ 825 on the charge of deliveries.
